Apple vs. FBI intrigues Florida sheriff to toss Apple CEO in jail
Federal authorities and Apple are now battling over the FBI vs. Apple iPhone encryption case.
Apple's CEO Tim Cook has been against providing a backdoor to the San Bernardino shooter's iPhone from the start, which has now provoked a Florida sheriff to arrest Cook if given the opportunity for not helping authorities with the matter.
Polk County sheriff Grady Judd said about the case: “You cannot create a business model to go, ‘We're not paying attention to the federal judge or the state judge. You see, we're above the law. The CEO of Apple needs to know he's not above the law.”
Judd advised that the Polk county authorities would seek a court order from Apple. “And when they deny us, I'm going to go lock the CEO of Apple up. I'll lock the rascal up.”
