Deepnet Security has announced unique authentication for Outlook Anywhere and integration of Windows Logon onto an encrypted USB device.

Designed to offer complete protection for workers who need remote access to corporate information, the technology will provide unique unification and authentication on Outlook Anywhere to prohibit unauthorised access.

It will enable Microsoft Outlook users to connect to their Exchange servers over the internet securely using the RPC over HTTP.

It will also offer a reliable, efficient way to access Exchange information without the need to set up a virtual private network.

Yurong Lin, CEO of Deepnet, said: “With phishing and ID theft at an all time high, confirming user identity is paramount. Organisations are crying out for simple ways to protect their identity on the move and we are delighted to have developed a solution to protect the widest used business applications in one device.”

Distributor Softek is installing the Deepnet products and protecting information at a number of businesses. Technical director Mike Bienvenu said: “Our resellers are constantly being asked for smarter ways to secure identity on the move and with organisations now more than ever looking to increase efficiencies through mobile working, the development of these Deepnet solutions represents a great business opportunity for the channel.”
