Firebrand Training has launched a condensed disaster recovery training course, aimed at security professionals.
The
five day Disaster Recovery Professional course aims to provide
delegates with a basic knowledge of DR, including how to prepare a
disaster recovery plan, how to assess risks and how to develop a DR
policy.
"We are showing businesses how to minimise the problems
and also control the situation if data disappears and the system goes
down," said Rob Chapman, CEO of Firebrand Training, which was formerly
known as The Training Camp.
The courses run monthly on a
residential basis at one of a number of UK locations, with an average
of 12 hours tuition per day, Firebrand says. The materials are
developed by e-commerce training company EU-Council. The course costs
£2650+VAT.
Firebrand runs other security courses, including
offerings focused on secure programming and ethical hacking, as well as
(ISC)2's CISSP and Checkpoint's CCSA and CCSE.
