Oracle patch update contains 193 fixes

As part of its quarterly Critical Patch Update, Oracle has released security fixes for 193 vulnerabilities across a number of products.

A summary from the Oracle Database Server of the Critical Patch Update is listed below.

  •     10 new security fixes for the Oracle Database Server
  •     39 new security fixes for the Oracle Fusion Middleware
  •       4 new security fixes for the Oracle Hyperion
  •       3 new security fixes for the Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control
  •     13 new security fixes for the Oracle E-Business Suite
  •       7 new security fixes for the Oracle Supply Chain Products Suite
  •       8 new security fixes for Oracle PeopleSoft Products
  •       5 new security fixes for Oracle Siebel CRM
  •       2 new security fixes for Oracle Commerce Platform
  •       2 new security fixes for Oracle Communications Applications
  •     25 new security fixes for Oracle Java SE
  •     21 new security fixes for Oracle Sun Systems Products Suite
  •     11 new security fixes for Oracle Virtualization
  •     18 new security fixes for Oracle MySQL
  •     25 new security fixes for Oracle Berkeley DB

Abuse of some of these vulnerabilities can allow a remote attacker to take control of an affected system and may be remotely exploitable without authentication. There is possibility for abuse of the vulnerabilities over a network without the demand of a username or password.
