Signify and AppGate partnership sees introduction of cloud-based two-factor authentication
Customers of Signify and AppGate now have secure access to applications and business critical information with cloud-based two-factor authentication (2FA).
Following a strategic partnership announcement between Signify and AppGate to integrate Signify's two-factor authentication hosted services with AppGate's unified access security solutions, a single solution that includes mobile and fixed VPN and endpoint security control has been introduced.
Customers can use RSA SecurID token-based authentication; or chose from a range of tokenless solutions, including software tokens and one-time passcodes delivered to mobile phones.
Nikolas Georgii, marketing director at AppGate Network Security, said: “By working together, Signify and AppGate bring together two great technologies to offer a great proposition to meet the demand for secure anytime, anywhere access to corporate resources.”
Dave Abraham, CEO at Signify, said: “Our cloud-based service means that any AppGate customer, from small businesses to major multinational organisations, can rapidly deploy reliable and flexible token or tokenless 2FA to meet business objectives as well as individual user requirements.
“We have already been working with AppGate on a number of successful deployments and look forward to rolling out 2FA services to support both existing and new customers.”
