Small business protection service enhanced by F-Secure

F-Secure has launched a new version of its Protection Service for Businesss to include a web-based management portal for resellers.

According to the company, the service for business is a turnkey solution for small and medium-sized companies that offers complete protection for desktops, laptops and file and email servers against online threats.

It said that the web-based management portal for resellers has been improved with performance and usability in mind, bringing resellers more business and more control with less effort.

Tapio Koskinen, solution manager at F-Secure, said: “Online threats are more complex than ever, so it makes good business sense to outsource security management to specialised resellers.”

Protection Service for Business allows access to a detailed level of information regarding viruses and infections affecting customers' computers that enables resellers to act quickly and efficiently in tracking malware to a specific computer or even an individual file.

Email alerts can also be set up to notify the reseller every time a virus is spotted, while the new portal makes subscription management easy to integrate with different business models, F-Secure said.
