What you need to know about securing access to your private cloud
Date: 29th January 2015
Time: 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. GMT
Moving enterprise apps to the cloud is becoming a very attractive option for organisations striving to cut IT costs while improving agility and scalability. However, before making this move there is a lot to consider - What applications are you going to move? Are you planning to move them to Amazon Web Services™ (AWS), Microsoft® Azure or Google Cloud? How are you going to secure applications in the cloud?
Although the cloud readiness checklist may be daunting, securing access to your applications in the cloud need not be a painful experience. Most organisations look first to the cloud provider, such as AWS, and/or their own identity and access management (IAM) provider to extend IAM to the private cloud. These options can work, but come with challenges.
In this webinar we will discuss:
- Why moving to AWS may seem logical, but that many organizations are finding this strategy either does not scale, does not perform or just simply does not work.
- Layout an IAM evaluation framework for securing your infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS) environment, whether that be private or public cloud.
Join us on 29th January and learn how you can easily secure your apps in the cloud—thereby accelerating the time-to-value for your IaaS initiative!
