Juniper Networks has launched the Adaptive Threat Management solutions to provide real-time threat defence and network-wide visibility and control.

The solutions include: the new SRX3000 Series Services Gateways; a new release of the network access control solution; Unified Access Control 3.0; new Secure Access SSL VPN 6.4 technology with new standards-based interoperability functionality; and new releases of Juniper Networks Security Threat Response Manager 2008.3 and Network and Security Manager 2008.2 with advanced network management, threat response and reporting.

The enhanced secure access SSL VPN 6.4 and UAC 3.0 software delivers an enterprise-wide access control solution that coordinates local and remote access and ensures that policies are consistently enforced.

Meanwhile the SRX series has been expanded with the addition of the SRX3000 Services Gateways. The products, which run on Junos software, integrate multiple services such as intrusion prevention, distributed denial of service protection, network address translation, policy and control, identity management, and quality of service.

Douglas Murray, vice president and general manager, high-end security systems at Juniper Networks, said: “The SRX3400 and SRX3600 improve performance while overcoming the tradeoffs prevalent in security products today. The SRX Series is about integrating the security and networking services customers require, as they need them.”
