AnonGhost hacks Nottinghamshire Police website

News by Ava Fedorov

A group of pro-Palestine hacktivists known as AnonGhost successfully infiltrated the Nottinghamshire Police website late on Friday. For just under an hour, the site showed an image touting “Khalifah will transform the world,” and a hastily-written threatening the “United Kingdoom Police" (sic).

Though it is unclear exactly why the regional branch was specifically targeted, the AnonGhost website brags it has hacked a number of websites including the University of Kentucky, the governments of Myanmar and Senegal and a popular rugby team, suggesting they will take whatever they can get.
