Apple patches multiple Watch vulnerabillities

News by Ava Fedorov

This week, Apple has released several patches in response to at least twelve security flaws discovered in Watch, including two arbitrary code execution bugs and FREAK (Factoring RSA Export Keys).

This first run of Watch patches will also fix other infamous vulnerabilities including hacker Loki@ART's bug that grants malicious apps the ability to execute arbitrary code with system privileges via a kernel memory corruption issue and Oracle hacker, Marc Schoenefeld's, arbitrary code execution triggered when the Apple Watch processes a maliciously crafted font file.

Ongoing updates will be published on Apple's support page.
