CommonTime has released a beta wireless version of its mNotes5 software.The program is aimed at IBM Lotus Notes users and is designed to transfer and use the email, calendar and other information from Lotus Notes on a hand-held device.
Additional features include message encryption, IBM Sametime IM for group collaboration over the net and wireless software installation.
The prerelease test version is only compatible with mobile devices using Microsoft’s Windows Mobile 5 and 6, Microsoft Windows XP or Vista machines and Lotus Notes version 6 or later.
The beta program is due to run for approximately two months before the full software is released.
The complete version is expected to cost £8 per month, with existing CommonTime customers receiving a discount from the monthly subscription.
