Email security provider Securecoms has launched two new encryption products designed for small- and medium-sized businesses.

Secure-mail is a hardware-based offering, which is placed in front of the company’s email connection and automatically encrypts messages between Securecoms users, claimed the company’s chief executive, David Ford.

However, Secure-mail:lite is a downloadable application designed for those users who don’t have the hardware hub, but want to encrypt and decrypt emails between themselves and Securecoms customers.

According to the email security vendor, the products are aimed at SMEs because they do not require software installation or an IT support team.

The two offerings are available now on a free 30 day trial and are then priced on a subscription per-user basis.
