A malware virus has used the FedEx identity to deceive users into downloading it.

IT security firm BitDefender has claimed that the malware is engineered to steal sensitive e-banking data. It claims that the company is trying to deliver a postal package one month ago and asks users to download and print an attached invoice, however this file contains a ZBot Trojan.

Sorin Dudea, head of BitDefender anti-malware research, said: "ZBot and its family have an increased damage potential, as they are able to deactivate the firewall, steal sensitive financial data (such as credit card and account numbers, as well as login details), make screen shots and create logs of current working sessions."
