Salary: £34,174 pa

A key figure within the ICT team, you will be responsible to the head of ICT for ensuring the security and integrity of Action For Blind People's ICT infrastructure and its associated data. In particular, you will have responsibility for the day-to-day management and development of all Action's security systems, including anti-virus, anti spam, email, internet and endpoint, and you will be required to establish appropriate information governance policies and procedures within Action and to ensure subsequent staff adherence to those policies and procedures.
You will also be responsible for the management, development and evaluation of ICT training throughout Action, in co-operation with the HR team.
A recognised ICT security or information security qualification is essential for this role and a professional training qualification, such as CIPD or SVQ is also highly desirable. You must also have a considerable experience of direct full-time security professional work and significant experience in training development and delivery.

*Although based at our Central Office in London SE16, occasional travel to our sites across the country (including overnight stays) may be required.
