What is Census 2011?

In 2011, everyone living in the UK will be included in a national census. The information provides a detailed ‘snapshot' of Britain's population and will help the government plan health, housing, education and transport services for years to come. The Office for National Statistics (ONS) in Titchfield coordinates the Census from start to finish – a huge undertaking which calls for additional staffing at every stage.
