Astaro has previewed three new products at the Infosecurity show to move further into the archiving, UTM and WiFi areas.

Astaro RED is a centrally managed unified threat management solution for branch offices that enables organisations to connect their remote locations to a central office without onsite technical expertise.

Astaro Mail Archiving is a hosted service that provides unlimited storage to customers that wish to archive their email, while users can find archived messages quickly and easily through a convenient Microsoft Outlook plug-in. Finally, Astaro Wireless Security offers a secure and uninterrupted WiFi signal throughout an office location through secure plug-and-play thin access points, including support for the latest 802.11n standard.

According to Astaro, users can create guest internet access without complicated configuration, while connections are securely managed centrally with the Astaro Security Gateway web interface.

Jan Hichert, CEO of Astaro, said: “For ten years Astaro has offered unified threat management products that today protect over 100,000 networks worldwide. Our new licensing model makes it possible for organisations of all sizes to tailor their security and fit their exact needs while securing their networks using enterprise-class technology.

"Our new offerings being showcased at Infosecurity Europe will provide organisations with even more options when it comes to IT security, but without increasing the management burden that IT faces.”

The new products are set to be launched later in the year.
