A national survey has been launched by IT security solution provider Blue Cube and SC magazine to measure the impact of the financial crisis on IT security and data protection strategies at UK companies.
Topics covered by the survey include impact on ROI, CEO awareness and the threat of increased attack on company data as the recession bites.
“The recession will undoubtedly have an effect on IT security strategies in 2009. What this survey will do is tell us what those at the sharp end of British business are really planning to do.” said Paul Fisher, editor of SC.
Gary Haycock-West, Chief Executive of Blue Cube said that: "2009 looks to be a challenging year for many businesses. A core aim of this joint survey is to highlight what companies are flagging up as major IT Security issues for 2009 and thus aiding organisations to make well rounded decisions on IT Security spend in the upcoming year".
The survey can be accessed through SC and Blue Cube websites and also offers the chance to win £150 worth of Virgin vouchers. The survey closes on 23 January 2009.
