Check Point introduces the next stage of the software blade architecture

Check Point has announced the launch of the Smart-1 security management appliance line to integrate into its software blade architecture.

Check Point has announced the launch of the Smart-1 security management appliance line to integrate into its software blade architecture.

 

Four appliances are introduced and unify the network, IPS and endpoint security policy management and provide up to 12 terabytes of integrated log storage.


Smart-1 150 provides security management for large enterprises and service providers with 150 gateways or more that provides up to 12TB of integrated log storage: The Smart-1 50 is designed for 50 to 150 gateways that provides up to 4TB of integrated log storage: The Smart-1 25 is for enterprises with 25 to 50 gateways that provides 2TB of integrated log storage. Smart-1 5 is for businesses with five to 25 gateways and includes up to 500GB of integrated log storage.

 

The Smart-1 security management appliances also include Check Point Provider-1 that enables multi-domain management by unifying data from multiple management servers. The all-in-one devices preserve data centre rack and floor space and reduce power and cooling requirements.
