Courion has launched an access risk management suite to offer cloud-based identity and access management (IAM).

According to the company, the suite has been developed as a single platform for managing user access to vital information by automating and integrating key IAM functions such as identity and access governance, user provisioning, and password management. It is available either on-premise or as by software-as-a-service.

Courion also claimed that the suite provides a graphical view of access risks, important notifications and alerts and key actions, while applications perform access risk management and IAM functions such as user provisioning, role and profile management, compliance and password management.

Dave Fowler, senior vice-president of products and marketing at Courion, said: “Customer self-service, mobile access and information in the cloud offer new opportunities, but they also bring with them new risks.

“The Access Risk Management Suite is built on an access intelligence engine designed to help organisations confidently utilise their information systems to drive their business by giving them the visibility and tools to effectively see and manage their access risks.”

Courion has also launched the Access Insight tool, which identifies associations and patterns that might violate compliance guidelines and company policies, or indicate hidden risks.
