The eight start-ups that are participating in Cyber London's second programme have been announced today at a private event in the Cyber London offices in West London.

Teams starting in the European start-up accelerator programme this week are Aves Netsec (Finland), BitNinja (Hungary), Fabris (UK), Mazor (Israel), Simudyne (UK), Torsion InfoSec (UK), UkkoBox (UK and Brazil) and Verity (South Africa).

The programme consists of 14 weeks where the chosen teams are granted access to professional training from a network of mentors and investors. The companies present their businesses to potential clientele, investors and partners at a Demo Day during the end of the programme. The teams additionally receive a £15,000 investment with a return of three percent equity.

Richard Wilding, director of new ventures at BAE Applied Intelligence, said: “Nurturing start-ups with Cyber London helps ensure a vibrant supply chain full of technologies that can keep the UK and Europe at the forefront of this industry. BAE Systems looks forward to supporting the development of the exciting young companies involved in Cyber London's second cohort.”
