Darpa asks how to manage extreme DDoS attacks

News by Danielle Correa

The US's Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) Information Innovation Office (I20) is sponsoring a Proposers Day in order to provide information to potential proposers in regard to the objectives of the anticipated DDoS Defence (XD3) Broad Agency Announcement (BAA). If it is released, the BAA will be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website and the Grants.gov site.

The Proposers Day will be held on 2 September 2015 from 1:00-4:30 PM EST (6:00-9:30 PM GMT) at the DARPA Conference Centre in Arlington Virginia.

Proposers Day does not establish a formal solicitation for proposals or abstracts. It is solely for the purpose of information and programme planning. Interested parties to this notice are warned that nothing herein forces DARPA to issue a solicitation.

Following Proposers Day, DARPA expects to post supplementary information regarding the XD3 programme.
