Paul Fisher, the editor of SC magazine has been asked to appear at a special Security Incident and Event Monitoring (SIEM) themed round table event in May.
The organisers Boxing Orange, an MSSP, are inviting guests to discuss some of the issues around SIEM.  This includes asking what are the key drivers in deploying SIEM, how event management has become a board level concern and, in a time of budget restraints, whether SIEM can be deployed into the enterprise in a cost-effective and efficient manner.

Joining Paul Fisher will be Phil Ineson, founder of Boxing Orange and Matthew Harden, regional sales manager with ArcSight, a provider of security management systems. ArcSight is also shortlisted for five awards at the forthcoming SC Awards Europe to be held on April 27 where Paul Fisher will also be appearing.

At the round table event  the editor of SC will lead an open discussion on SIEM among an invited audience of CISOs and senior information security professionals.A previous event in January attracted delegates from British Airways, BP, Sony, Balfour Beatty and many leading companies.

The upcoming event will be held on May 26th at the Ritz Hotel, London. For more details on how to attend those interested should contact John Ellerton on
