Endace Limited and CACE Technologies have announced a software development and licence agreement.

The agreement will see a marriage of the rich feature-set of the CACE Pilot traffic analysis, visualisation, and reporting tool to the capture and processing power of Endace's NinjaProbe.

The Endace NinjaProbe incorporates a client-server implementation of the CACE Pilot high-level network analyser to deliver intuitive drag-and-drop analysis of live and captured data. Capitalising on CACE Pilot's tight integration with Wireshark, the solution also provides complete or filtered packet captures for immediate dissection by the industry's leading network forensic application.

Mike Riley, CEO of Endace, said: “Network Professionals worldwide are already intimately familiar with CACE Technologies.  We are excited to be able to tap into their knowledge and expertise to add sophisticated and unique analytic capabilities to our multi-function probe and sensor solution, the NinjaProbe.”

Loris Degioanni, CACE Technologies Co-Founder and CTO, said: “Though initially released for local analysis, we designed CACE Pilot to allow for easy integration with packet capture devices and monitoring probes.

“By combining a client-server implementation of CACE Pilot with the superior capturing and filtering capabilities of Endace's NinjaProbe, we can now offer unparalleled speed and access to both real-time and historical network traffic data.”
