Software vendor G Data is marking its 25th anniversary this year by offering a 25-month licence on its InternetSecurity product.

Software vendor G Data is marking its 25th anniversary this year by offering a 25-month licence on its InternetSecurity product.

In an offer beginning today and running throughout 2011, the anniversary edition includes free upgrades to the new versions of G Data's InternetSecurity software that will be released in the second quarter of 2011 and 2012. According to the company, features include: safe surfing, shopping, emailing and chatting; protection against spyware; safe online banking; blocking annoying spam; protection against hacking; and parental controls.

James Coombes, head of UK sales, said: “As the oldest anti-virus software developer in the world, we are immensely proud to be celebrating our 25th birthday. The anniversary edition of our InternetSecurity product is our way of saying thank you to our customers, both old and new, who have helped us achieve this longevity milestone.”
