Integralis has announced the acquisition of managed security services provider Secode AB.
A move that will add a presence in Sweden, Norway, Finland and The Netherlands, the acquisition from parent company NTT Communications will see Secode become a wholly owned subsidiary of Integralis and will be able to offer the full range of Integralis' products and services to meet customers' requirements for next-generation IT security.
Secode offers managed security services, security consultancy and technology to commercial, government and military organisations. CEO Göran Egnell said he was looking forward to the opportunities that this acquisition will bring to the organisation, customers and employees.
“Our excellent relationship with Integralis to date has already proven to be extremely valuable and we look forward to formally becoming part of the Integralis team. We will continue to provide our regional and multi-national customers with comprehensive, value-added services to help identify and manage their information security risk, whilst providing a far greater range of expertise and delivery that is only possible from a global organisation, ” he said.
Simon Church, chief operating officer of Integralis, said: “The acquisition of Secode not only expands our coverage across the Nordics, it adds a wealth of commercial, government and military experience and expertise particularly to our consulting organisation. We look forward to furthering our relationship with the fantastic team at Secode and welcoming them to Integralis.”
The acquisition will see NTT Com transfer its 88 per cent shareholding in Secode to Integralis, giving Integralis 100 per cent ownership of Secode. In exchange, NTT Com will receive additional shares in Integralis to take its overall shareholder stake in Integralis to more than 78 per cent.
