Kim Kardashian's official fan website, KimKardashian.com, could potentially expose visitors to cyber-attack, including identity theft and malware, security analyst, Jamie Woodruff, revealed on his blog. Though the site's administrators have been alerted to over a dozen security flaws, they've yet to react to the information or fix the vulnerabilities.
It is the WordPress platform that makes the site particularly vulnerable, according to Woodruff, who notes that all WordPress sites can be easily hacked. Signing up for a mailing list or setting up an account password on vulnerable sites makes identify theft like taking candy from a baby.
According to online news sources, other vulnerabilities include DDoS attacks, and administrator hacks that allow attackers to bypass restricted URLs and folders to steal login cookies.
