LogLogic has announced that Guy Churchward is to join as CEO, succeeding Patricia C. Sueltz.

Formerly vice president and general manager at NetApp overseeing the data protection group, he brings more than 20 years experience in the information technology industry as a business executive.

Churchward will be responsible for guiding LogLogic's long-term business strategy and its growth as an innovator in log and security management solutions. He will also lead the charge on next generation applications infrastructure for virtualisation.

Michael Goguen, general partner of Sequoia Capital and chairman of the LogLogic board, said: “Guy brings critical product and market development experience at an important inflection point in the industry with LogLogic poised to take advantage of tremendous opportunities in this rapidly-changing market environment.
