Log data management and intelligence provider, LogLogic, has appointed Patricia Sueltz as its new chief executive.
Sueltz, the former CEO of SurfControl until its acquisition by Websense in October, will be responsible for leading LogLogic as it bids to increase its presence in the log management solutions marketplace.
"LogLogic is rapidly expanding its domestic and global channels and is well positioned to become an integral and core component of IT governance, risk and compliance solutions for customers worldwide," commented Sueltz in a statement yesterday.
Sueltz has over 25 years of experience in IT security management and has previously held executive roles at Salesforce.com and Sun Microsystems. She was recently elected to the Cyber Security Industry Alliance's board for 2007.
"Pat brings proven leadership to LogLogic, an enviable track record of industry success and an unmatched commitment to customers," said Michael Goguen, chairman of the LogLogic board.
LogLogic's acting CEO, Dominique Levin, will continue in her role as executive vice president of marketing, products and business development.
