»Big Brother Watch is recruiting a new director after Nick Pickles left the organisation. Emma Carr is currently the acting director of the campaign group.

»US retailer Target appointed Bob DeRodes as its new chief information officer (CIO), following the data breach scandal that cost Gregg Steinhafel his position as the CEO and president. Though dragging its feet in appointing a new – and first-ever - CISO, the company did announce a move to advanced card technologies in 2015, as part of its heightened focus on critical security issues.

»EY has appointed John Milne, the former Bank of England head of operation resilience, as a director within its financial services sector. Under Milne's direction, The Bank of England was awarded the ‘Editor's Choice Award' at the SC Awards Europe 2014 for the Waking Shark II exercise.

»MDS appointed non-executive director, Simon Blagden MBE. Simon previously worked at GEC Plessey and The Quante Group as international CEO.
