News by SC Staff

Increased openness from GCHQ via the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and its new website includes a blog from the agency's CEO Ciaran Martin, with guest blogs also planned.

There is a weekly threat assessment  with the first dated 23 September covering Shadow Broker's Cisco vulnerabilities in the wild, and a warning about how iPhones can now be cracked, as well as Bruce Schneider's warnings on core internet companies having their security suffer investigatory attacks, plus Mozilla malware and IOS vulnerabilities.

Other guidance on the site includes A critical appraisal of risk methods and frameworks  and Browser Security Guidance on Microsoft Internet Explorer.

Departments include Guidance, Threats, Incident Management, Education and research, as well as Insight, providing white papers among other resources.
