NetPilot Internet Security has made a step forward with the launch of an advanced range of Unified Threat Management (UTM) solutions.
The company claimed that the solutions benefit organisations from 25 to 500 users and its Guardsman, Vanguard and Globemaster appliances incorporate SSL VPN Plus and are the only UTM appliances that are powered by Neoaccel.
All of the solutions come with a range of advanced features including minimum 40GB solid-state storage (up to 160GB for the R2500), email anti-virus (Clam or Sophos depending on bundle purchased), email policy filtering, advanced firewall, anti-spam and URL filtering. All but the smallest appliances also feature anti-spyware, browsing anti-virus and IDS.
Jamie Pushman, director of sales and co-founder at NetPilot Internet Security, claimed that this is a very complete product offering for smaller businesses, and that this is unique to the security space as a standard offering.
Pushman said: “Small and mid-sized businesses depend upon fast IP links, but many security manufacturers struggle to meet these demands with solutions that take too much time to process traffic.
