Trustmarque Solutions new CEO has announced a new partnership with vulnerability management specialist RandomStorm.
New CEO Scott Haddow claimed that he was keen to start exploring new areas and expanding Trustmarque's services, particularly in the security arena.
He said: “This new partnership is strategic for us in this sense. This is a new vendor and the key message is that this is another good partnership to add to our security partners. The security issue that companies face is one that is not going to go away and is going to heighten.
“This is another area where companies can ensure they can remain compliant and see the risk level move off. It is only going to get more highly complex and the security will become more distinct.”
RandomStorm is a provider of Software as a Service (SaaS) security management solutions, and Trustmarque will be bundling RandomStorm's vulnerability management products into its overall security package to customers.
RandomStorm claimed that the vulnerability management product enables any business to regularly schedule on-demand scans of their networks to see if they have developed any vulnerabilities and whether security has been compromised.
Speaking on future plans, Haddow claimed that there is room for change, and said that the first move will be to ‘focus on the core of the business, and the impact on what we do as a business.'
Haddow said: “We generally want to expand the security offering and move into more geographical markets, invest in people and technology to make it easier for our customers. We will look at the strength we have got and there may be a possible acquisition if we find the right one.”
