PGP has launched the endpoint application control that blocks malicious and unauthorised software.
Using whitelisting technology that only allows trusted and authorised software applications, it allows users to ensure that they are protected as it is always-on. It is also capable of auditing all application execution attempts and policy changes.
Also, as business application requirements change and new threats are introduced, IT administrators can update existing whitelisting policies that are transparent to the end-user.
Phillip Dunkelberger, president and CEO of PGP, said: “Today's business environment is wireless and borderless between customers, partners, consultants, mobile employees and shared computers, making confidential information at risk everywhere.
“With PGP endpoint application control, we are continuing to strengthen our data protection solutions with another layer of control to help ensure business continuity for our customers.”
