Speakers including Tim Berners-Lee, Art Coviello and Adrienne Hall will present next week at the RSA Conference Europe.

Taking place from 11-13 October at the Hilton London Metropole Hotel, the conference will present three days of keynotes, specialist track sessions and workshops offering advice on the latest trends and technologies, best practices and insight into the most critical business issues facing the industry today.

Among the speakers will be RSA executives Art Coviello and Thomas Heiser, who will discuss the hacking incident that rocked the company earlier this year.

Also presenting will be Stefano Grassi, the vice-president of security and safety at Poste Italiane and chairman of the European Electronic Crime Task Force; Adrienne Hall, general manager of Microsoft Trustworthy Computing; and executives from vendors including Qualys, Symantec and Cisco.

The event will be closed by 'internet godfather' Sir Tim Berners-Lee, who will talk on "evolving web technology and some security challenges which surround it".

Linda Lynch, RSA Conference Europe manager, said: “2011 has seen an increase in sophistication, abilities of computer hackers and in advanced persistent threats worldwide. Our 2011 programme will reflect these ever-changing issues by providing real-world insights on future threats, with timely and strategic sessions.”
