SC Magazine has announced that its annual forum is to be held at The Oxford Belfry from the 14th – 16th July 2010.
Following on from last year's event, which had a 100 per cent satisfaction rate from delegates, the event this year will include workshops and seminars on threats to businesses, risk-based modelling techniques for information security professionals, future trends in database security and mobile security in an age of consumer smartphones.
The first confirmed speaker is Uri Rivner, head of new technologies and consumer identity protection, at RSA who will be running a workshop on 'how to become a successful online fraudster'.
Commenting on last year's event, Brian Shorten, risk and security manager at Cancer Research, said: “The SC Forum is an oasis for a busy security professional; allowing the opportunity to meet with and learn from peers in excellent surroundings.”
SC Magazine editor Paul Fisher said: “The event last year was a real success with interesting seminars, quality speakers and satisfied delegates. This year is shaping up to be even better, keep an eye on SC Magazine for details of further confirmed speakers.”
Places are complimentary for senior in-house IT security professionals with a budget in excess of £100,000. If you would like to come to the event please register online at www.scmagazineforum.co.uk.
