Secerno has announced the launch of its DataWall 3.2 solution.

This is targeted at small-to-medium enterprises and departmental scale deployments that creates creates a rich understanding of application-to-database behaviour. It eliminates the risks and costs of exposing and fixing large numbers of application vulnerabilities by intimately understanding the intention of each and every SQL query.

It also provides multi-layered policies that map to specific business dynamics to control how time, location and users access the data. In addition, the SynoptiQ Engine has a zero-defect policy enforcement which ensures that legitimate business transactions will not be blocked.

Steve Hurn, CEO of Secerno, said: “SMEs face exactly the same threats to their databases as larger organisations. They need to know that their data is safe and they also want to invest in solutions that will scale and provide protection as they grow as a business.”
