IMS Live Services is responsible for ensuring that the performance and security of HMRC's IT Services allows the Department to meet its core purpose and ambition.  It does this by being focused on our customers and having engaged staff and suppliers.  It delivers continual service improvement and applies industry best practice to achieve it.  It delivers ever increasing continual improvements to service performance and customer satisfaction, ever decreasing levels of failure, risk and cost and achieves this through ever improving relationships, behaviours, skills, processes and controls.

 

The Security Controls Advisory Lead Manager will report to the Head of Security Controls, IMS Security to provide internal security consultancy services to interpret high level security policies and standards including advice on technical and process implementation.

 

Responsibilities include advising on standards and policies including Government Standards (CESG) and undertaking development and reviews of RMADS (Risk Management and Accreditation Document Sets), security policy framework compliance review (SPF) and security infrastructure design advice and guidance.

 

You will have knowledge of appropriate HMG Infosec standards and CESG Memos. CLAS status is not required for these roles. Experience of producing RMADS documentation is essential.

 

We are looking for high calibre candidates to fill this role who are articulate, consultative and driven.

Frequent travel, including some overnight stays, will be required.

 

Candidates will need to have or be able to be security cleared to SC level or above for this role.
