IMS Live Services is responsible for ensuring that the performance and security of HMRC's IT Services allows the Department to meet its core purpose and ambition. It does this by being focused on our customers and having engaged staff and suppliers. It delivers continual service improvement and applies industry best practice to achieve it. It delivers ever increasing continual improvements to service performance and customer satisfaction, ever decreasing levels of failure, risk and cost and achieves this through ever improving relationships, behaviours, skills, processes and controls.
The Security Controls Assurance Lead Manager will report to the Head of Live Services Security Controls, IMS Security to review, maintain and assure HMRC security accreditation with external organisations.
Responsibilities include assurance reviews of security controls owned or operated by IMS, undertake physical / technical audits, review Risk Management Accreditation Documents and stating technical controls measures that are missing or not effective within IMS.
You will have knowledge of ITIL, information risk assessment and knowledge of ISO27001, COBIT and the Departmental Data Security Standards. Ideally, CISA/ISACA experience in developing and delivering audit / assurance test plans.
We are looking for high calibre candidates to fill this role who are articulate, consultative and driven.
Frequent travel, including some overnight stays, will be required.
Candidates will need to have or be able to be security cleared to SC level or above for this role.
