MobileIron has announced the launch of a smartphone access monitoring application for the Apple iPad.
The company said that the app takes advantage of the rich interface, portability and visual space of the iPad to give IT teams a mobile command centre from which they can monitor and take action on smartphones accessing enterprise email. Its features include a dashboard view of smartphone connection activity, identification of unauthorised or risky access and blocking of rogue devices.
