Will Liu has been appointed as UK general manager at TP-Link.

Liu comes to the UK after almost two year at TP-Link South Africa. Prior to that, he was responsible for operations in India, Dubai, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

“I take over at a time when TP-Link's position is exceptionally strong. Consumers are demanding high performance networks as homes and home entertainment evolves and it's second nature to stream in 4K and HD. eSports is also entering the mainstream with massive investment from established sports like NFL, driving the need for high speed, lag free internet connections. Consumers are also seeing the real world benefits of Smart Home Technologies. In the B2B space high quality, reliable internet is essential to business operations which is generating demand for enterprise access points and power over Ethernet switching,” said Liu.
