Tufin has announced the launch of 12 plug-ins to extend support of its solution set to a wider set of network devices.

The plug-ins are immediately available for Cisco (Catalyst, Nexus and Content Services); Juniper Networks (JUNOS Switches, E Series IP Edge and Broadband Services Routers and SA Series SSL VPN Appliances); HP Procurve Switches; Dell Switches (PowerConnect and SMC); Nortel Networks Switches (Alteon WebOS and Bay Networks); Brocade Foundry Switches and Extreme Networks Switches.

Each plug-in provides SecureTrack and SecureChange workflow functionality, enabling operations teams to leverage SecureTrack's change monitoring, automated reports and support for industry standards to improve policy management for each device.

Graham Titterington, principal analyst at Ovum, said: “It is difficult to maintain the consistency and integrity of a security policy that is implemented across a range of network devices as the network and the business practices evolve.

“Tufin's automated approach to managing changes addresses these issues. It checks that a change will not violate the current policy implemented across the network.”
