West Coast Labs has announced a partnership with OPSWAT to integrate the Checkmark certification data into the OESIS framework.

The Checkmark certification identifies anti-virus solutions, including those that have completed the rigors of product testing and certification, and will combine data with the OPSWAT OESIS framework.

Benny Czarny, president and CEO of OPSWAT, said: “With West Coast Labs Checkmark certification data integrated in the network management console, systems administrators will not need to go through a manual process of reading Checkmark certification charts before creating network compliance or manageability policies.”

Lysa Myers, director of research at West Coast Labs, said: “In the context of the existing network system, by identifying compatible applications, network administrators can focus on a product by its capabilities – knowing which products have successfully completed independent testing makes the purchase process that much easier.”
