White Hat has announced that it has exceeded £500,000 in its fundraising activities in support of the NSPCC and ChildLine.

With its 2012 White Hat Ball confirmed for 3 February, and events such as the White Hat Rally, Golf Day and Cocktail Party taking place in 2011, it has confirmed that it has raised £525,000 to date, enabling ChildLine to train 300 additional counsellors.

The not-for-profit fundraising group's committee chairman, David Morgan, said: “This is a true reflection of how the White Hat franchise has grown over the past six years to encapsulate many fundraising activities outside of the traditional annual ball. We welcome additional sponsorship and support from our industry to help us continue making a difference to children in need.”
